About

At Illuminate the Truth, we’re more than a Christian bookstore — we’re a ministry.

Illuminate the Truth — where faith, fellowship, and purpose meet.

Our heart is to create a space where believers can gather, grow, and be equipped to walk boldly in the truth of God’s Word. Every book, Bible, and resource we offer has been prayerfully chosen to help strengthen your faith and point you closer to Jesus.

As we continue to grow, Illuminate the Truth is becoming a hub for fellowship, prayer, and discipleship — a place where Christians can come together to study Scripture, pray for one another, and find encouragement in community. This isn’t just about what’s on our shelves; it’s about what God is doing in the hearts of His people.

Our mission is simple: to help illuminate God’s truth in Fargo and beyond, equipping believers to live out their faith with confidence and love.

If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can do so now and begin your personal relationship with Him.

Romans 10:9 (English Standard Version)

9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and that God The Father raised Him from the dead? Do you want Him, to be your Lord and Savior? If so then pray to Him and tell Him.

Salvation Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, please forgive me, I repent for me for my sins. I acknowledge that you died on the cross for my sins. I thank you for the blood that you shed for me. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart and be Lord over my life. In Jesus Holy name,  I pray this Amen!

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

  • The Holy Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  • There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal, co-eternal, and one in essence (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

  • Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died a substitutionary death on the cross, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate. He will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to establish His kingdom (John 1:1-3, 14; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

  • The Holy Spirit is fully God. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, baptizes, seals, and fills every believer. He empowers believers for godly living and equips them with spiritual gifts for service in the Church (John 16:7-11; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; Ephesians 1:13-14).

  • Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience. As a result, all humanity is born with a sinful nature, separated from God, and in need of redemption (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23, 5:12).

  • Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift received when a person repents of sin and trusts in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. All who are truly saved are eternally secure in Christ and will be glorified at His return (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; John 10:28-29).

  • The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation. The local church is a community of baptized believers who gather for worship, prayer, Bible teaching, fellowship, and the observance of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Every believer is called to serve using their spiritual gifts (Ephesians 1:22-23, 4:11-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:42).

  • Every believer is called to live a holy life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, in obedience to God’s Word. This includes loving God and others, pursuing justice, mercy, and humility, and shining as lights in the world (Matthew 5:14-16; Romans 12:1-2; Micah 6:8).

  • Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead. Believers will enjoy eternal life with God, while those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from Him. We look forward to the new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells (Revelation 20-22; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
