The Beacon of Truth Talk Series is brought to you by Illuminate the Truth, LLC and community leader Melissa Brandt. It is a monthly teaching and discussion series designed to equip believers to understand the times and respond with Biblical wisdom.

 

Drawing inspiration from 1 Chronicles 12:32—“the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do” —this series focuses on applying the eternal truths of God’s Word to the real and pressing challenges of our generation.

 

Each month, guest speakers from diverse ministry and professional backgrounds will address contemporary cultural, moral, and spiritual issues through a Biblical lens. The goal is not merely to present information, but to cultivate God-given wisdom that goes beyond facts to reveal the deeper meaning and implications of truth, enabling believers to live faithfully and respond wisely in a rapidly changing world.

The Beacon of Truth Talk Series seeks to help participants navigate today’s cultural tensions using Biblical principles, while remaining grounded in the unchanging sufficiency of Scripture. As values shift and new challenges arise, this series provides a space for thoughtful teaching, reflection, and practical application of God’s Word.

Our prayer is that, like the sons of Issachar, we would grow in our ability to understand the times and know how to apply the truth of God’s Word to the issues of our day—living out our faith with clarity, courage, and wisdom.
