Photo & Media Waiver Policy
By registering for, attending, or participating in this Event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Photo & Media Waiver.
1. Consent to Photography and Recording
You understand that photographs, video recordings, and other media (“Media”) may be captured during the Event by the Illuminate The Truth, LLC sponsors, or authorized third parties. By entering the Event premises, you voluntarily consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.
2. Grant of Rights
You hereby grant Illuminate The Truth, LLC and their affiliates, successors, and assigns a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in any Media captured at the Event. This includes use in promotional materials, advertising, social media, websites, and other lawful purposes.
Such use may include ministry publications, educational materials, social media content, websites, livestreams, podcasts, promotional materials, fundraising materials, and other ministry-related communications.
3. No Compensation
You understand and agree that you will not receive compensation, payment, or royalties for the use of such Media.
4. Waiver of Inspection and Approval
You waive any right to inspect or approve the final Media or any use to which it may be applied.
5. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under North Dakota law, you release and hold harmless the Illuminate The Truth, LLC, the venue, sponsors, and their representatives from any claims, demands, or liability arising out of or in connection with the use of the Media, including claims related to invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or defamation.
6. Minors
If of the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent. By signing below or otherwise authorizing the minor’s participation, the parent/guardian grants permission for the minor’s image, likeness, and voice to be used in accordance with this policy.
7. Opt-Out Procedure
Individuals who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify Event staff in writing prior to the Event or inform a staff member upon arrival. While reasonable efforts will be made to honor such requests, the Illuminate the Truth, LLC cannot guarantee that incidental capture will not occur in public event spaces.
Individuals requesting not to be photographed understand that avoidance of group photographs, event-wide recordings, livestreams, or incidental background appearances may not always be possible.
8. Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Dakota.
